Maria Soderman Photography was founded in 2015 to offer portrait photography services that empower the modern woman. I am Maria, the owner of the company.
I view myself as a very passionate photographer.
I strive to make my clients feel comfortable and to be their best selves during the shoots.
About Myself
I was born and raised in Brazil. I moved to San Diego, CA, in 2000. Over the next eighteen years, I learned English, became a United States citizen, completed seven years of college, including three years studying photography, got married, gave birth to a son, and then gradually began my pursuit of becoming a professional photographer.
Exploring My Passion for Photography
I know what is to look in the mirror and not feel beautiful or good enough. I am very confident that I can capture the most beautiful photographs that you’ve ever seen of yourself. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create the most elegant portraits you have ever had. You don’t have to be photogenic or be “good” in front of the camera. You are perfect the way you are, and my job is to capture the confident and gorgeous you.
